Mission
I believe in empowering people of all ages, shapes, and sizes to have a positive relationship with food and be comfortable in their bodies. This can be achieved by considering an individual’s unique nutritional status and goals, discussing a full variety of foods and their respective roles in the body and our lives, as well as by practicing flexible and practical meal planning and useful food preparation skills.
The aim is to build awareness and understanding while facilitating an environment supportive of a healthful, fulfilling, and sustainable lifestyle. While specific, evidence-based restrictions or dietary supplements are necessary in certain medical conditions, I favour a non-diet approach by combining simple and appropriate guidelines with intuitive eating. Dining can and should be a relaxed, enjoyable, and nourishing experience.
